Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to participate in the two-day FAITH Conclave 2026 in New Delhi on Thursday. The event, organized by the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH), aims to discuss ways to boost India’s tourism sector for economic growth and employment generation. The theme of the conclave is “Incredible India: Invaluable Economics”.
The FAITH Conclave will serve as a platform for policymakers, tourism experts, and industry leaders to collaborate on strategies to enhance the growth of the travel and hospitality industry. A key focus will be on the proposed “Tourism Growth Charter”, which outlines plans to develop 50 tourist destinations, grant infrastructure status to the tourism sector, and promote “Brand India” globally.
One of the main objectives of the conclave is to streamline the visa process, enhance investment in tourism infrastructure, and facilitate private sector involvement through a simplified clearance mechanism. The Madhya Pradesh government highlighted that the Tourism Growth Charter aims to boost economic growth, create jobs, and foster balanced regional development by maximizing the tourism sector’s potential.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s participation in the FAITH Conclave is seen as an opportunity to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s tourism assets to national policymakers and industry leaders. The state government anticipates that this engagement will attract tourism investments and elevate Madhya Pradesh’s standing in the national tourism landscape.
The FAITH Conclave, organized by the apex body representing India’s tourism, travel, and hospitality sector, is expected to convene government officials, industry experts, and leaders to explore policy reforms and investment strategies to bolster tourism’s contribution to the country’s economy.
