A day after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav returned from the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Switzerland, State Congress Chief Jitu Patwari expressed his intention to meet with the Chief Minister. Patwari’s letter to Yadav highlighted the need to discuss investment outcomes, achievements from the trip, and concerns about administrative corruption.
Patwari, in a critical tone, welcomed Yadav back to India and emphasized the importance of achieving set targets for investment, employment, and industrial growth in the state. He stressed the significance of presenting results from government-funded tours to strengthen public trust and convey transparency to investors.
In his communication, Patwari criticized the BJP-led state government, citing media reports that raised concerns about corruption within the administration. He highlighted the alleged remarks on corruption attributed to the State Chief Secretary during a recent conference, pointing to systemic issues that could impact various government functions.
The controversy surrounding alleged corruption has sparked political tensions in Madhya Pradesh, with the Congress party using the incident to underscore systemic issues. However, the Public Relations Department of the state government has refuted the media reports, labeling them as inaccurate and unfounded.
