The Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) 2026 is scheduled to commence on June 3, featuring 10 men’s teams and five women’s franchises competing in Indore. The men’s tournament will start with Gwalior Cheetahs facing Ujjain Falcons on June 3 at the Holkar Stadium. For the women’s competition, Chambal Ghariyals will take on Gwalior Shernis on June 4 at Daly College in Indore.
Former MPL chairman Mahanaaryaman Scindia expressed excitement about the upcoming season, highlighting the increased teams and matches, including an expanded women’s competition. The league aims to offer a robust platform for budding cricketers in Madhya Pradesh, fostering high-quality cricket and enthusiastic fan engagement.
In the women’s tournament, the team topping the points table will secure a direct spot in the final, while the Eliminator match is set for June 12, leading to the women’s final on June 13 at Holkar Stadium. The men’s MPL league stage will feature double and triple headers starting June 4, with the semi-finals scheduled for June 25 and the grand finale on June 26, all at Holkar Stadium in Indore.
The addition of new franchises like Malwa Stallions, Ujjain Falcons, and Royal Nimar Eagles in the men’s category, along with Gwalior Shernis and Royal Nimar Eagles in the women’s segment, promises an exciting and competitive MPL 2026 season.
