Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters and Gulbarga Mystics will start the fifth edition of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 on June 20. The tournament, spanning from June 20 to July 12, will be hosted in Mysuru, Hubballi, and Bengaluru. Coastal Kings Mangaluru, a new franchise, will debut against Hubli Tigers on June 21.
The matches will be spread across three centers, following the Karnataka State Cricket Association’s aim to bring top-quality cricket to fans statewide. Mysuru and Hubballi will each host 12 matches, while Bengaluru will stage 10 matches, including the Final. The player auction for Season 5 is set for June 5 in Bengaluru, featuring over 150 players.
The tournament’s schedule was revealed by M.S. Keshava, Governing Council Chairman, Maharaja Trophy. He expressed delight in bringing matches to multiple centers, emphasizing the return to diverse locations. The addition of Coastal Kings Mangaluru and Shivamogga Yodhas brings fresh excitement to the competition.
