Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed departments to allocate land promptly for the Educity and Medicity projects, attracting interest from international universities. These initiatives aim to offer top-tier educational opportunities to students in Maharashtra. Fadnavis highlighted that these hubs will enhance local academic standards by hosting global institutions.

The Educity and Medicity developments are planned near the Navi Mumbai International Airport, with land acquisition underway and Medicity’s blueprint ready. Fadnavis anticipates that the presence of renowned global universities will elevate education quality, foster startups, and drive research in diverse sectors. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of using Artificial Intelligence for efficient power management during peak demand, especially in the summer season.

Fadnavis stressed the need for proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming seasons. He urged the administration to leverage Artificial Intelligence for system maintenance and repair tasks. The energy department reported the success of rooftop solar energy utilization and assured ample coal and water availability for power generation. Pre-monsoon maintenance preparations are in progress to handle any potential emergencies effectively.
