The Speaker revealed specific statistics from the session, including the time lost due to various reasons and the average daily working time. He mentioned the introduction of two new members to the House and the passing of 11 condolence motions. Additionally, he highlighted the numbers related to starred and unstarred questions, short notice questions, short duration discussions, and various notices received by the secretariat.
The session saw the introduction of government bills, ordinances, and private members’ bills, with details on approvals, rejections, and discussions provided by the Speaker. Notable was the House’s exceptional session on July 9, 2026, where proceedings extended into the early hours of the following day, marking a significant event in the legislative history.
