He mentioned leveraging AI for the criminal justice system, where processes from crime scene investigation to chargesheet filing have been digitized using blockchain technology. Additionally, the state introduced the AI-powered ‘Mahavistar’ app to aid farmers, with over 50 lakh downloads already.
The ‘Mahavistar’ app serves as a comprehensive solution for the agricultural sector, offering real-time responses through interactive AI agents. Fadnavis noted the increasing engagement of youth and tech professionals in these initiatives, signaling a positive trend. He affirmed the government’s commitment to fostering innovation and industrial growth in the AI sector, urging for a more impactful Mumbai Tech Week to connect Maharashtra’s youth with global AI opportunities.
