Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has lauded actor Anupam Kher’s directorial venture “Tanvi The Great” as the most exceptional movie he has seen this year. Bhatt commended the film’s emotional depth and storytelling in a video shared by Kher on Instagram. He described it as a brave, sensitive, and entertaining film that delves into the life of a young autistic child. Bhatt urged viewers to watch it on March 3.

Anupam Kher expressed gratitude towards Mahesh Bhatt for his praise and continuous support. He thanked Bhatt for introducing him to the world of cinema with films like “Saaransh” and for endorsing “Tanvi The Great.” Kher mentioned that Bhatt’s appreciation has reinforced his belief in his filmmaking values and the movie he passionately believes in. The response to the film on a digital platform has been positive, with Kher acknowledging the encouraging feedback received.

“Tanvi The Great” narrates the story of Tanvi, a 21-year-old woman with autism, living with her mother Vidya and grandfather Colonel Pratap Raina. Motivated by her late father, Captain Samar Raina’s dream of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier, Tanvi aspires to join the army and fulfill his unrealized ambition.
