In a significant anti-narcotics operation in Rajasthan, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) conducted four coordinated raids in Jalore, Beawar, and Jaipur, resulting in the dismantling of multiple drug trafficking networks and the apprehension of five alleged drug peddlers.
Under the guidance of Rajasthan’s Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, the operations led to the seizure of substantial amounts of opium, heroin (smack), cannabis, and cash suspected to be proceeds from the narcotics trade. A scooter allegedly used for drug delivery was also confiscated during the raids.
The crackdown, spearheaded by ANTF Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar, was initiated based on specific intelligence inputs and carried out in collaboration with local police units. The operations targeted locations where narcotics were being sold or supplied, resulting in the recovery of illicit substances and arrests of individuals involved in drug trafficking.
In recognition of the success of the operation, IGP Vikas Kumar praised the efforts of ANTF personnel and the police teams from Bhinmal, Beawar City, Shivdaspura, and Narayan Vihar for their coordinated actions. He announced that the officers and personnel involved would be honored at a special event at the ANTF headquarters.
