A significant fire erupted on Monday at a high-rise residential apartment in Noida’s Sector 119, causing alarm among residents and triggering a large-scale emergency response. The fire broke out on the 21st floor of the Aranya Society, leading to the immediate deployment of nearly six fire engines to control the situation.
Firefighters swiftly initiated an intensive operation to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to other parts of the building. Initial investigations suggest that the fire might have been caused by an explosion in an air-conditioner unit, with further details pending a thorough inquiry.
Rescue teams conducted searches on the affected floor, with reports indicating that no residents were trapped inside the building. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath responded promptly to the incident, directing officials to oversee relief and rescue efforts, emphasizing the importance of efficient emergency operations.
The recent fire in Noida adds to a series of fire incidents in residential complexes, with previous incidents reported in Sector 74 and Sector 52. Additionally, on the same day, a fire broke out in a four-storey residential building in Delhi’s Keshav Puram area, where fire department personnel successfully rescued three individuals trapped on the terrace without any injuries.
