The production of the much-anticipated movie ‘Mookuthi Amman 2′, directed by Sundar C and featuring Nayanthara, has wrapped up. Vels Film International, the film’s production house, shared a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the stars’ involvement and excitement about the project. Director Sundar C confirmed the completion of filming in the video.
Actress Urvasi revealed that the sequel would be independent of the first part, expressing surprise at the swift conclusion of shooting. Sundar C mentioned the dedicated work of over 2000 technicians over six months, ensuring the successful completion of the film. Various actors, including Regina Cassandra and Yogi Babu, shared their perspectives on the project in the video.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ since its announcement. Producer Ishari K Ganesh disclosed that Nayanthara, who plays the lead role, underwent a month-long fast to portray the goddess character authentically. The first part of the franchise, ‘Mookuthi Amman’, was inspired by their family deity, with Nayanthara being the preferred choice for the role.
