Actress Malaika Arora celebrated her sister Amrita Arora’s birthday by sharing a sweet message on social media. Posting a lovely photo of them together, Malaika expressed her love for her sister with a heartfelt caption. Alongside the picture, she wrote, “Happy birthday my baby sis @amuaroraofficial (sic)” and added two red heart emojis.

In addition to the birthday post, Malaika also posted a fun selfie with her friends, including Amrita and Karisma Kapoor, captioning it, “With our birthday girl…A liftie is a must.” Amrita, who started her career as a VJ for MTV, ventured into Bollywood in 2002 with the film “Kitne Door Kitne Paas” opposite Fardeen Khan.

Amrita has since appeared in various movies like “Awara Paagal Deewana,” “Ek Aur Ek Gyarah,” “Girlfriend,” “Speed,” “Red: The Dark Side,” “Kambakkht Ishq,” and “Hello.” In 2009, she tied the knot with businessman Shakeel Ladak, and the couple now has two sons. Malaika and Amrita often express their affection for each other on social media, showcasing their strong bond.

Reflecting on her own journey, Malaika shared insights with IANS about her personal growth and evolution beyond the realms of glamour and dance. She highlighted her transition into fitness, entrepreneurship, and now, a published author. Malaika also discussed the significant impact of films like “Lagaan,” “Dil Chahta Hai,” “Queen,” “Gully Boy,” and “Andhadhun” in reshaping the landscape of Hindi cinema.
