The makers of the upcoming action film ‘Kara’ have revealed that Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu will portray a cop named Bharathan in the movie. Vels Film International, the production house, unveiled the first look poster of Suraj Venjaramoodu in his cop avatar.
Previously, the film’s character names were disclosed, with Mamitha Baiju playing Selli and director K S Ravikumar portraying Kandhasaami in ‘Kara’. The film, announced on Pongal this year, features Dhanush in the lead role, exuding an intense look in the released poster.
Directed by Vignesh Raja, ‘Kara’ is described as an emotionally rooted suspense thriller. The star-studded cast includes Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, director K S Ravikumar, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj. The film also boasts a talented technical crew, with cinematography by Theni Eswar and music by G V Prakash.
The storyline of ‘Kara’ is a collaborative effort between writer Alfred Prakash and director Vignesh Raja, known for their acclaimed investigative thriller ‘Por Thozhil’. Alfred Prakash emphasized the benefits of co-writing, highlighting the synergy between him and Vignesh Raja in crafting compelling narratives.
