Malayalam superstar Mammootty has revealed the title of his upcoming film, ‘Padayaatra,’ directed by the renowned Adoor Gopalakrishnan. This collaboration has sparked significant excitement among fans and cinephiles, marking their reunion after nearly thirty years.
‘Padayaatra’ will mark Mammootty’s fourth project with Adoor Gopalakrishnan and will also star actors Indrans, Grace Antony, Sreeshma Chandran, and Zeenath, among others. Actress Grace Antony expressed her joy at being part of the film on her Instagram, calling it a dream come true for an actor.
The movie is a joint production between Mammootty’s production house Mammootty Kampany and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films. Adoor Gopalakrishnan and K V Mohan Kumar have handled the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The film’s cinematography is entrusted to Shehnad Jalal, while music will be composed by Mujeeb Majeed and editing by Praveen Prabhakar.
Costumes for the film’s cast will be designed by S B Satheesan, with sound design by Kishan Mohan. The production team includes Shajie Naduvil as the production designer, Ronex Xavier and George Sebastian for makeup, and George Sebastian as the executive producer. Meera Sahib will serve as the associate director.
