West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee shared a video message during the ongoing vote counting, expressing confidence in the Trinamool Congress’s victory. She urged her party members and counting agents to remain present until the conclusion of the counting process. Banerjee alleged that the BJP was leading in initial rounds due to a pre-planned strategy, accusing them of halting counting in some constituencies.
In her message, Banerjee criticized the Central forces for allegedly mistreating Trinamool Congress workers in various areas. She claimed that Trinamool candidates were ahead in around 100 seats, accusing the Election Commission of India of spreading misinformation. Banerjee also accused the ECI of using state and Central forces improperly during the elections.
Banerjee encouraged her party members to stay strong and continue monitoring the counting process, assuring them of victory. She emphasized the importance of perseverance and unity, stating that there was no need to panic as the final results were yet to be declared. Banerjee motivated her team to remain steadfast and resolute until the end of the counting process.
