Banerjee highlighted the removal of officials post the poll schedule announcement, indicating a restricted role for the state administration during elections. Additionally, she stressed the need for monitoring the strong rooms housing Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) post polling hours.
Banerjee outlined the party’s future political strategies, indicating a shift towards national politics post the state elections. She assured legal aid to voters encountering issues like missing names on electoral rolls. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee urged party workers to aim for a substantial victory margin in Bhabanipur, emphasizing the need to enhance booth-level results and voter support.
In the upcoming election, Mamata Banerjee faces BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari in Bhabanipur, following their previous electoral showdown in Nandigram. Abhishek Banerjee called for increased outreach efforts and voter support to secure a strong win. Notably, senior party leaders like Firhad Hakim and Subrata Bakshi were also present at the meeting.
