The highly anticipated thriller film ‘Patriot’, directed by Mahesh Narayanan and starring Malayalam superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal, sees Mammootty finishing his dubbing. The film is set to hit cinemas worldwide on April 23, 2026. Earlier, it was confirmed that Mohanlal had also completed his dubbing for the movie.
The film’s official Instagram handle shared a video of Mohanlal giving a thumbs up after completing his dubbing, emphasizing his significant contribution to the project. Recently, a Behind The Scenes (BTS) video was released, showcasing footage from the film’s shoot in Sri Lanka.
In the BTS video, scenes from an airbase featuring Mohanlal and Mammootty were highlighted, marking their collaboration after 18 years. Notably, actor Fahadh Faasil revealed his role as the antagonist in ‘Patriot’ during an event, hinting at a sequel to his hit film ‘Aavesham’.
Scheduled for a global release on April 23, 2026, ‘Patriot’ has generated immense anticipation, boasting a star-studded cast including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, and Revathy alongside the lead actors. A teaser released earlier teased a plot involving social responsibility and government surveillance.
