Benjamin Sesko’s two goals in the second half were not enough as Manchester United settled for a 2-2 draw against Burnley in Darren Fletcher’s first match as interim head coach. Burnley took an early lead through Ayden Heaven’s own goal, but Sesko’s quick brace turned the game in United’s favor.

Despite Sesko’s efforts, Jaidon Anthony’s strike for Burnley leveled the score at 2-2. The draw leaves Manchester United in sixth place, two points behind Liverpool, while Burnley continues their winless streak, sitting in 19th place, eight points adrift of safety.

In other matches, Aston Villa played out a goalless draw with Crystal Palace, while Everton ended with nine men in a 1-1 draw against Wolves. Michael Keane and Mateus Mane scored for their respective teams, with Everton’s frustrations compounded by late red cards for Keane and Jack Grealish.
