National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee recently met the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, in Mumbai. Bajpayee shared a photo with Macron on Instagram, expressing his honor at the meeting and highlighting their discussions on cinema, culture, and the importance of storytelling in fostering international connections.

During Macron’s three-day official visit to India, he engaged in talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enhance the India–France Strategic Partnership. The discussions focused on areas such as defence cooperation, trade, technology, and mutual regional and global interests. Macron and Modi inaugurated the India-France Year of Innovation 2026 in Mumbai to promote collaborative research and industrial engagement.

Emmanuel Macron’s visit also included participation in innovation forums and the India-AI Impact Summit in New Delhi. The agenda encompassed discussions on defence ties, potential agreements on Rafale fighter jets, industrial cooperation, and collaboration in artificial intelligence and strategic sectors.
