Manu Gandas shot a six-under 64 in round three to tie with Shaurya Bhattacharya at the top of the leaderboard at the INR 1.5 crore Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) Players Championship 2026 in Kolkata. Gandas, a former DP World PGTI Order of Merit champion, made an impressive move with an eagle, five birdies, and a bogey, bringing his total to 11-under 199.
Shaurya Bhattacharya, the halfway leader, struggled in round three with two birdies and five bogeys, also finishing at 11-under 199 to share the lead with Gandas. Following closely behind were Om Prakash Chouhan, Akshay Sharma, and Sanjeev Kumar, all tied for third place at 10-under 200.
Manu Gandas, familiar with the Tollygunge Club course due to past victories, showcased strong performance with notable birdies and an eagle. Expressing confidence in his game, Gandas highlighted his solid striking and approach shots, drawing inspiration from his previous success at the venue in 2024 for the final round.
Shaurya Bhattacharya, facing challenges on the course, acknowledged errors in club selection and decision-making, aiming to regain consistency in the upcoming rounds. Meanwhile, Kolkata’s Mohammad Sanju and Divyanshu Bajaj secured a tied 36th position at one-under 209.
