Additionally, the Meghalaya Police has showcased strong capabilities in disaster management, conducting swift search-and-rescue operations during natural calamities to protect lives and property.
In response to evolving security threats, the Meghalaya Police has bolstered its institutional framework by establishing specialized units such as the Cyber Crime Branch and the Anti-Terror Squad.
