A gathering in Ajmer, named “Mera Mulk, Meri Pehchan” (My Country, My Identity), highlighted themes of peace, patriotism, interfaith harmony, and Sufism. Dargah Diwan Syed Zainul Abedin emphasized Ajmer’s historical significance as a symbol of love, humanity, and unity, with the coexistence of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah and Brahma Temple.
The Diwan stressed the importance of promoting communal harmony and national unity, especially in a world facing terrorism and extremism. He underlined the shared responsibility and identity of every citizen towards the nation, stating that loyalty to one’s country is a core value, also emphasized in Islamic teachings.
Advocating against radicalism and violence, the Diwan urged for positive actions like supporting education, poverty eradication, and social reform. He encouraged understanding and respect among different faiths, highlighting the common teachings of humanity, compassion, and brotherhood in all religions.
