Minister of State for External Affairs, Pabitra Margherita, expressed condolences at the Thai Embassy for the passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati. He conveyed India’s sympathies and highlighted the Princess’s commitment to public service.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha, aged 47, passed away on June 11 at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok. Her health had deteriorated due to a heart condition and subsequent complications, leading to her demise.

The Thai government shared that the Princess had been undergoing medical treatment since December 2022 for various health issues. The Indian government and MoS Margherita were appreciated by the Thai Embassy in New Delhi for their gesture of signing the book of condolences.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua, was known for her work as a public prosecutor and later as a Thai Ambassador. Her contributions to public service and legal education were acknowledged and celebrated.
