The Ministry of Women and Child Development stated that nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) will end on July 31. This prestigious national-level award is given annually to recognize exceptional achievements of children aged 5 to 18 years who are Indian citizens residing in the country. The awards cover various fields including bravery, sports, social service, science and technology, environment, and arts and culture.
Nominations for the awards can only be submitted through the National Awards Portal at https://awards.gov.in. Both self-nominations and recommendations will be considered for the awards. The deadline for online applications is July 31.
The Union Home Ministry also reminded that July 31 is the closing date for nominations/recommendations for the Padma Awards to be announced on Republic Day 2027. The nominations process for these awards began on March 15 and is exclusively online on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal at https://awards.gov.in. The Padma Awards, including Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Shri, are esteemed civilian awards in India.
The nominations/recommendations for Padma Awards should include all relevant details as per the specified format available on the Portal. This includes a citation of up to 800 words highlighting the exceptional achievements/service of the recommended individual in their respective field/discipline.
