Building on the positive response from the recent coal and lignite gasification projects roadshow in Delhi, the Ministry of Coal is gearing up for its next event in Hyderabad. The previous roadshow showcased industry confidence in India’s coal gasification sector and highlighted the growing opportunities in this field. The upcoming Hyderabad roadshow will feature Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy as the Chief Guest, with Minister of State for Coal and Mines Satish Chandra Dubey attending as the Guest of Honour.
Coal gasification technology transforms coal into synthesis gas (syngas), enabling the production of various value-added products like methanol and industrial chemicals. The government has introduced policies and incentives to promote coal gasification, aiming to boost energy security and reduce reliance on imports. The Hyderabad event will focus on policy discussions, technological advancements, investment prospects, and project execution strategies in the coal and lignite gasification sector.
This roadshow will provide a platform for stakeholders to collaborate on advancing coal and lignite gasification projects nationwide. By bringing together policymakers, industry experts, technology providers, and investors, the event aims to accelerate the development of this crucial sector in India. The Ministry anticipates that the roadshow will enhance stakeholder engagement, foster partnerships, and contribute to building a robust coal gasification ecosystem in the country.
