In a surprising incident at an exam center in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, a minor student in Class 10 delivered a baby while writing her board exam. The incident took place during her mathematics paper when she complained of severe abdominal pain and went to the restroom with the invigilator’s permission.
Inside the washroom, she unexpectedly went into labor and gave birth to a baby boy. The exam center staff, alarmed by the infant’s cries from the locked door, quickly sought help. The 108 emergency ambulance service was alerted, and both the student and her newborn were taken to the Community Health Center in Pithampur for medical attention.
Doctors at the health center reported that both the mother and the baby are in stable condition and are being closely monitored. The incident caused a stir among students and staff at the exam center, leading to the registration of a case by the police. The girl, who resides in Betma, was at the Pithampur center solely for the exam, and legal actions are underway against the individual she had been in contact with.
