Mohammedan Sporting Club earned their first point in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Odisha FC at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Suhair VP scored for Odisha just before half-time, but Adison Singh’s goal in the second half leveled the score.
Despite the draw, Mohammedan remains at the bottom of the league table with one point from eight matches, while Odisha FC climbed to 12th place with six points from seven games. Lalthathanga Khawlhring was named the Player of the Match.
The match started cautiously with both teams trying to establish control in midfield. Mohammedan began to assert themselves around the 20-minute mark, creating some chances but failing to convert.
Odisha responded with their own attacks, with Subham Bhattacharya and others coming close to scoring. The deadlock was broken when Suhair VP scored for Odisha, but Mohammedan quickly responded with Adison Singh’s goal.
The second half saw Mohammedan creating more opportunities, with Adison Singh and others testing the Odisha defense. Both teams pushed for a winner in an open game, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
