Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 38th wedding anniversary with wife Suchitra by sharing a romantic note, expressing that it still feels like the beginning. The couple posed next to the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, as Mohanlal posted the picture on Instagram with a heartfelt caption. Mohanlal tied the knot with Suchitra, daughter of Tamil film producer K. Balaji, in 1988, and they have two children, Pranav and Vismaya.
The 64-year-old actor has an illustrious career spanning over four decades, appearing in more than 400 films. Mohanlal was honored with the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan for his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema. Additionally, in 2009, he made history by becoming the first Indian actor to receive the honorary rank of lieutenant colonel in the Territorial Army.
Recently, Mohanlal met the American electronic DJ and production duo, The Chainsmokers, during his visit to Dallas, USA. The duo shared a photo on Instagram, standing on either side of Mohanlal, expressing their newfound friendship. The Chainsmokers are known for their hit song “#Selfie” and other popular tracks like “Don’t Let Me Down” and “Closer”.
In other updates, Mohanlal’s much-anticipated film, “Drishyam 3”, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is set to release in May this year. The crime thriller also features Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. Mohanlal’s recent appearance was in the fantasy action film “Vrusshabha”, directed by Nanda Kishore, where he starred alongside Neha Saxena and others in supporting roles.
