Ratna Debnath, the mother of the RG Kar rape and murder victim and a BJP candidate from Panihati Assembly constituency, revealed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended her for her bravery. PM Modi, addressing a large gathering in Panihati, West Bengal, expressed his appreciation for Debnath’s courageous fight for justice for her daughter. Debnath shared that she is determined to seek justice for her daughter and expose the truth behind the tragic incident.

Debnath emphasized the importance of her election campaign, stating that she has the support of the people who also seek justice for her daughter. She highlighted the need to address women’s safety as a crucial issue in the ongoing polls. Debnath expressed her resolve to prevent similar tragedies from befalling other families, vowing to fight against such atrocities and ensure the safety of women in society.

PM Modi, in his election rally, assured that all individuals involved in the larger conspiracy related to the RG Kar rape and murder case will be identified and held accountable under the BJP government in the state. Debnath, while acknowledging Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s visit to her home after the incident, raised concerns about the progress of the investigation and urged for a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s tragic death.
