Bhopal/Chhindwara, July 31 (IANS) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will launch the state government’s Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan-2026 from Chhindwara on August 7, beginning a district-level outreach programme aimed at strengthening grievance redressal and improving implementation of welfare schemes, officials said on Friday.

The Chief Minister will participate in the district-level Samadhan Programme, where he will interact with selected citizens whose complaints registered on the CM Helpline have been resolved by the district administration.

Officials said the complaints are being scrutinised and addressed before the programme, and beneficiaries whose grievances have been resolved will be invited to share their feedback directly with Chief Minister Yadav.

The exercise is intended to assess the effectiveness of grievance redressal and ensure that complaints have been resolved satisfactorily.

Besides interacting with complainants, Chief Minister Yadav will chair a review meeting to assess the progress of district-level development works and implementation of key government schemes in Chhindwara.

He will also hold an industry dialogue with representatives of the industrial sector to discuss investment, infrastructure and issues related to industrial development in the district.

“The Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Abhiyan aims to strengthen trust between the government and citizens, ensure prompt and effective grievance redressal, and review the effective implementation of public welfare schemes. The Chief Minister’s Jan Vishwas Visit is an important step towards direct citizen engagement and responsive governance,” an official government statement said.

The Jan Vishwas Abhiyan has been conceived as a governance initiative to strengthen administrative accountability through regular district visits by the Chief Minister.

The programme combines public grievance redressal, review of development projects and welfare schemes, and interaction with stakeholders at the local level.

The CM Helpline is the state’s integrated grievance redressal platform through which citizens can lodge complaints related to government departments and public services.

The state government has been monitoring the disposal of complaints through departmental and district-level reviews, while the new initiative seeks to supplement the process by obtaining direct feedback from citizens.

The state government said that the Chhindwara programme will be the first in a series of Jan Vishwas visits planned across Madhya Pradesh.

Similar visits are expected to be held in other districts to review governance, public service delivery and implementation of welfare programmes at the grassroots level.
