Mumbai Indians’ Suryakumar Yadav Feels Team Fell Short in Batting Against Delhi Capitals

Mumbai Indians’ stand-in captain Suryakumar Yadav admitted that his team fell short by 15-20 runs in their match against Delhi Capitals. Despite Suryakumar’s 51 runs, Mumbai Indians could only manage 162/6 on a challenging pitch. Delhi Capitals, led by Sameer Rizvi’s impressive 90, successfully chased down the target.

Suryakumar acknowledged the tough conditions for batting and praised Rizvi for his exceptional performance. He credited Delhi Capitals for reading the pitch better in the second innings. Suryakumar believed that Mumbai Indians aimed for a score of 180-185 but missed the mark due to untimely dismissals.

Looking ahead, Suryakumar expressed optimism despite the loss, emphasizing the team’s commitment to regroup and perform better in their upcoming match against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati.
