Mumbai Mozartt continued their winning streak in the Table Tennis Super League (TTSL) Maharashtra 2026 by narrowly defeating Century Warriors 14-13. Meanwhile, PBG Pune Jaguars bounced back impressively with consecutive victories over Bayside Spinners TTC and NPV Smashers on Day 2 in Mumbai.
The TTSL, organized by Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), aims to enhance grassroots talent development and elevate state-level competition across India. This tournament features eight teams competing for the title, with each match consisting of nine games, including singles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles matches.
In the first match of the day, Century Warriors took an early lead with strong performances from Santosh Wakradkar and Anish Sontakke. However, Mumbai Mozartt turned the tide with players like Shreya Deshpande, Ishan Khandekar, and Divyanshi Bhowmick, ultimately securing a narrow 14-13 victory.
PBG Pune Jaguars, after a slow start on Day 1, showcased a remarkable comeback by defeating both Bayside Spinners TTC and NPV Smashers. Led by players like Amol Sarode, Senhora Dsouza, and Reeth Rishya, PBG displayed consistent performances to clinch victories of 15-12 and 14-13, respectively.
In other matches, Century Warriors outperformed defending champions Phantom Stars with a convincing 16-11 win, while Ping Panthers secured a 15-12 victory against Jolly Friends Sports Club.
