In a significant anti-narcotics operation, the Kandivali Unit of the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) apprehended two alleged drug suppliers and confiscated 765 grams of heroin valued at around Rs 3.82 crore in the global market. The operation took place close to Yari Road in the Versova area of Andheri based on specific intelligence inputs regarding suspected drug trafficking in the vicinity.
The arrested individuals, identified as Arman Ayub Malik (32) and Danish Bhura Ali (23) from Uttarakhand, allegedly came to Mumbai with the purpose of distributing narcotics in the city. They were nabbed during a raid by the ANC team, where the heroin consignment was seized from them.
