Murali Sreeshankar Wins Men’s Long Jump Title with 8.04m Jump

Asian Games silver medallist Murali Sreeshankar showcased his talent at the Indian Athletics Series, clinching the men’s long jump title in Chennai with an 8.04m jump. Among his six attempts, Sreeshankar’s second jump measured 7.90m, while his fourth attempt secured his victory with 8.04m.

In previous events, Sreeshankar achieved an 8.15m jump in Bengaluru and an 8.12m jump during the South African exposure tour. The men’s 110m hurdles saw Tejas Ashok Shirse emerge victorious with a time of 13.43 secs, closely followed by Krishik M at 13.44 secs.

Santhosh Kumar T. led the men’s 400m hurdles, with all medalists finishing in under 50 seconds. Santhosh clocked 49.47 secs to claim the top spot. Other notable results included Pranav Pramod winning the men’s 100m in 10.32 secs and Rajesh Ramesh taking the men’s 200m title in 21.23 secs.
