The LVM3-M6, with BlueBird 6 onboard, took off from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the launch as a proud moment for India.
CM Adityanath praised ISRO for deploying the BlueBird Block-2 satellite into Low Earth Orbit, emphasizing India’s growing global influence in space technology under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership. He highlighted ISRO’s role in inspiring the nation and solidifying India’s position as a reliable space partner worldwide. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also lauded ISRO for showcasing India’s scientific prowess and confidence through the successful launch of BlueBird 6.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised India’s advanced technological capabilities and PM Modi’s guidance, which have bolstered the country’s space sector’s global credibility. She emphasized ISRO’s continued excellence in inspiring the nation and enhancing India’s role in shaping the future of space exploration.

Chandrababu Naidu extended his congratulations to ISRO for launching the heaviest satellite from Indian soil, marking a proud milestone for the nation’s commercial space capabilities. BlueBird 6, a communication satellite weighing 6,100 kg, is the heaviest payload placed into Low Earth Orbit during an LVM3 launch. This mission signifies a significant advancement in telecommunications technology, aiming to provide high-speed connectivity directly to smartphones. The launch is part of a commercial agreement between NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL) and the US-based company AST SpaceMobile.
