The Narcotics Control Bureau’s Delhi Zonal Unit has disposed of approximately 408 kg of seized drugs valued at more than Rs 212 crore. These drugs were associated with 39 cases, both pre-trial and post-trial. The disposal was conducted through the Regional Drugs Disposal Committee and High-Level Drugs Disposal Committee, ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
The destroyed drugs included Ganja, Cocaine, Heroin, Charas, and other substances, totaling 408 kg. NCB Delhi Zone’s Additional Director highlighted the agency’s efforts in combating drug trafficking and preventing the re-entry of contraband into society. This action underscores the agency’s commitment to public health and national security.
The operation serves as a warning to drug traffickers, emphasizing the authorities’ determination to dismantle illegal drug networks. Aligned with the government’s vision, the NCB’s initiative aims to eliminate drug abuse and trafficking from the country. The agency urges citizens to report any information related to drug trafficking to law enforcement agencies.
