The National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from Rajasthan, Jammu, and Ladakh recently took part in the exchange participants association of India (EXPA) programme during the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ camp in Jammu. The Defence Ministry Spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Suneel Bartwal, highlighted the transformative experience of the EXPA CADET Programme for the cadets from these regions. The initiative, organized by the NCC Directorate of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, aimed at providing practical learning experiences beyond traditional academics.
The EXPA programme focused on sparking an inner drive within the cadets, transforming them from curious observers to confident agents of change. Through a two-day intensive session led by expert trainers, cadets were challenged to step out of their comfort zones, enhance communication skills, and cultivate self-assurance. The immersive nature of the programme encouraged active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking among the participants.
The sessions were designed to be dynamic, thought-provoking, and engaging, fostering an environment where cadets could explore their potential and develop essential skills. EXPA not only emphasized theoretical knowledge but also practical application, empowering cadets to become resilient, self-assured leaders of tomorrow. The programme was instrumental in shaping a generation of youth equipped with public speaking, decision-making, time management, and leadership abilities.
