NCP-SP legislator Rohit Pawar has raised questions about the air crash involving late Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He called for a thorough investigation to determine if the crash was accidental or a deliberate act. Pawar highlighted the poor visibility conditions on the day of the incident, emphasizing that the pilot had expressed concerns about taking off due to the weather.
Rohit Pawar alleged that the pilot was instructed to proceed with the takeoff despite the adverse conditions. He mentioned that the pilot’s medical reports showed no signs of impairment, prompting him to question the reasons behind the risky decision. Pawar expressed concerns about the protection of certain individuals related to the aviation company involved in the crash.
Former Maharashtra Minister Anil Patil criticized Pawar’s approach, urging for a probe into the incident. Patil accused Pawar of engaging in political tactics and targeting specific NCP leaders. He advised Pawar to present evidence through proper channels rather than making baseless accusations. The NCP has sought an audience with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to address the concerns surrounding Ajit Pawar’s air crash.
State NCP President Shashikant Shinde raised issues in the State Legislative Council, questioning the delay in discussing the air crash incident. He expressed frustration over the lack of permission for a formal discussion on the matter, raising suspicions about external pressures influencing the situation.
