Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Kochi on March 6 to unveil the NDA’s election manifesto, marking the formal start of the National Democratic Alliance’s campaign in Kerala. The inauguration of the regional office in Ernakulam, attended by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, signals the alliance’s organizational readiness for the upcoming elections. BJP Kerala State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar stated that the alliance has transitioned from preparatory work to full-fledged campaign activities.

The NDA’s choice of Kochi for the regional office inauguration highlights its strategic focus on strengthening its presence in central Kerala. The newly opened office will serve as a central hub for campaign planning, communication, and organizational coordination across multiple districts. The presence of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju at the event underscores the national-level support for the alliance’s campaign efforts in Kerala.

The upcoming visit of Prime Minister Modi is anticipated to be a significant political event, with the release of the NDA’s election manifesto shaping the alliance’s narrative for the Kerala elections. Emphasizing development as a key campaign theme, the NDA aims to center the electoral discourse on governance and economic progress. The alliance’s early campaign push, marked by the inauguration of the regional office, reflects its commitment to expanding its electoral base in Kerala.
