Kesavan highlighted the timing of Soz’s statements, linking them to Rahul Gandhi’s return from a foreign trip and the upcoming Parliament session. JD(U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan noted the internal divisions within the INDIA bloc over key issues, emphasizing the alliance’s differing priorities.
Hindu seer Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das held Rahul Gandhi accountable for his party leaders’ statements on Article 370. Das criticized Gandhi for spending more time abroad and failing to guide his party members. BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi strongly denounced Soz’s remarks, accusing him of implying sovereignty for Jammu and Kashmir based on its Muslim-majority status.
Congress leader Surendra Rajput retaliated against the BJP’s criticism, dismissing their attacks on Rahul Gandhi. Rajput emphasized that the issue of Article 370 is sub judice, and the court’s decision will be respected by all parties involved.
