Countering the Opposition’s protest over exam paper leaks, NDA leaders staged an agitation at the Makar Dwar of Parliament. They accused the Congress of wasting valuable time by disrupting proceedings and avoiding discussion on NEET exam irregularities.

The ruling alliance leaders held placards targeting the Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for allegedly instigating the youth. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju expressed disappointment over the delay in discussing the NEET exam paper leak, citing Opposition leaders’ changing stances.

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi highlighted the NDA’s demand for a discussion on NEET and the education system in Parliament, which the Congress was allegedly obstructing. He emphasized the government’s sensitivity towards student issues and commitment to justice in paper leak cases.

Referring to PM Modi’s promise of fast-track courts for paper leak cases, Trivedi reiterated the government’s focus on student welfare over political gains. He urged the Opposition to engage in constructive discussions and cautioned protesting students against potential exploitation for political motives.

BJP MP Sambit Patra criticized the Congress for avoiding substantive debates by creating disruptions in Parliament. He emphasized the need for strong laws to prevent paper leaks and called for an in-depth parliamentary discussion on the issue.
