The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party will convene for a “Mangal Milan” meeting on July 28 at the G.M.C. Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament Library Building. All NDA Members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been urged to attend the session starting at 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, as per the communication from the Bharatiya Janata Party office in Parliament.
This gathering aims to facilitate discussions among NDA members, coinciding with the government’s focus on anti-cheating legislation and the Opposition’s concerns regarding alleged police actions at Jantar Mantar. The “Mangal Milan” meeting, a revamped weekly NDA parliamentary party strategy session, emphasizes constructive debates and alliance coordination.
In addition to strategizing for daily parliamentary proceedings and fostering cross-party consensus, the meeting enhances coordination with NDA allies like Shiv Sena, LJP, TDP, JDU, and other regional parties. The Centre intends to introduce several bills during the ongoing monsoon session, covering areas such as income tax, MSME reforms, Supreme Court judges’ strength, and birth registration laws.
