The latest ATP Rankings have seen significant changes after the clay swing, with Alexander Blockx rising to World No. 36 following a successful campaign at the Mutua Madrid Open. The 21-year-old Belgian advanced 33 places after reaching his first ATP Tour semifinal, defeating notable players like Felix Auger-Aliassime and Casper Ruud.
French player Arthur Fils has also made progress, moving up eight spots to World No. 17. Despite returning from a back injury, Fils claimed the Barcelona ATP 500 title and extended his winning streak to nine matches in Madrid. Although he was stopped by World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the semifinals, Fils has reentered the Top 20 for the first time since September.
Rafael Jodar, a rising 19-year-old talent, achieved a career-best ranking of No. 34 after an impressive performance in Madrid, reaching his first Masters 1000 quarterfinal. Noteworthy victories over top players like Alex de Minaur and Joao Fonseca propelled his rapid ascent from being ranked outside the Top 900 just over a year ago.
Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo climbed to No. 35 after a successful run at the Aix-en-Provence Challenger 175 event, where he emerged victorious against Zizou Bergs in the final. Meanwhile, Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz moved up 10 places to No. 53 after a strong showing in Cagliari, continuing his comeback from knee surgery with a notable win over Matteo Berrettini.
In the Top 100, several players have made significant progress. Daniil Medvedev now stands at No. 9, while Flavio Cobolli (No. 12), Jiri Lehecka (No. 13), and Valentin Vacherot (No. 16) have achieved career-best rankings. British player Cameron Norrie rose to No. 19, and Zizou Bergs reached a career-high No. 39. Other notable climbers include Vit Kopriva (No. 55), Thiago Agustin Tirante (No. 69), Dino Prizmic (No. 79), Adolfo Daniel Vallejo (No. 84), Daniel Merida (No. 86), Wu Yibing (No. 88), and Martin Landaluce (No. 94).
