Senior JD(U) leader Ashok Choudhary, assuming charge of the Food and Consumer Affairs Department, has warned of strict action against PDS shopkeepers involved in irregularities. He stressed the government’s commitment to transparency and protecting beneficiaries’ rights in the ration distribution system. Additionally, Senior BJP leader Dilip Jaiswal, now in charge of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, acknowledged the department’s past issues and pledged to address delays, corruption allegations, and administrative inefficiencies.
Meanwhile, Kedar Prasad Gupta has taken on the role of Tourism Minister, focusing on developing tourism infrastructure across Bihar to boost economic growth and employment opportunities. Gupta expressed optimism about the state’s tourism potential and emphasized the importance of promoting tourism statewide for economic benefits.
