The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is set to conduct the initial ‘Suvidha Camp’ of the year on January 3, 2026, at the NDMC Convention Centre on Jai Singh Road in New Delhi. This initiative aims to enhance service delivery and ensure efficient grievance redressal for residents. The camp, scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is part of NDMC’s ongoing efforts to engage with citizens directly and improve services promptly.

The ‘Suvidha Camp’ serves as a one-stop facilitation platform where residents, stakeholders, and various associations can seek information, submit requests, and resolve issues related to a range of municipal services. Participants, including residents, service users, associations, and NDMC employees, are encouraged to attend and receive immediate assistance on various matters. Dedicated helpdesks staffed by NDMC officials will be present to offer timely and effective support, ensuring quick resolution of grievances and clarity on procedures.

During the camp, attendees can address concerns related to electricity services, property tax, birth and death certificates, NDMC employee issues, waterlogging, sanitation, waste disposal, road repairs, pension schemes, and booking of facilities like Barat Ghars and public parks. The NDMC’s commitment to transparent, responsive, and citizen-friendly governance is reinforced by the regular organization of the Suvidha Camp on the first Saturday of each month at the NDMC Convention Centre.

In addition to physical Suvidha Camps, the NDMC has introduced the “Jan Suvidha Portal,” a digital platform for grievance redressal that allows citizens to lodge complaints online, monitor their status, and provide feedback on resolutions. Accessible through the official NDMC website, this portal offers a convenient and transparent mechanism for service delivery. The NDMC emphasizes its dedication to providing efficient, responsive, and citizen-centric services through both physical and digital channels, ensuring accessibility, transparency, and an enhanced quality of life for all residents.
