Newly-inducted BJP leader Pradyut Bordoloi expressed his commitment to working diligently for the party and seeking guidance from senior leaders as he gears up to contest from the prestigious Dispur Assembly constituency in the upcoming Assam elections.

Addressing party workers at the BJP’s Hengrabari office in Guwahati, Bordoloi affirmed his dedication to the BJP, emphasizing the need for constant guidance from Dispur workers to progress effectively. He also highlighted his intention to seek blessings from senior leaders Jayanta Das and Atul Bora as he embarks on his political journey with the party.

Bordoloi’s decision to join the Bharatiya Janata Party follows his formal entry into the party, marking a significant shift in his political allegiance ahead of the crucial Assembly polls in Assam.

The BJP’s nomination of Bordoloi for the Dispur seat, known for fierce electoral battles, is viewed as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s position in key constituencies, leveraging his political acumen and organizational influence.

Emphasizing unity and collective effort within the BJP, Bordoloi reiterated his commitment to collaborating closely with grassroots workers to bolster the party’s presence in Dispur, underscoring the significance of a cohesive approach.

His entry into the BJP has sparked reactions from opposition parties, notably the Congress, which viewed his switch as a personal choice. In contrast, BJP leaders have welcomed Bordoloi, expressing confidence in his potential to contribute to the party’s electoral triumph.

As the election fervor intensifies, Bordoloi’s proactive engagement with party workers and voters signals his readiness to actively participate in the electoral contest in Dispur.
