India’s Nitin Menon has been selected as one of the match officials for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semifinals happening on March 4 and 5. South Africa will face New Zealand in the first semi-final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 4, while India will play against England in the second semi-final on March 5 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.
Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf will be the on-field umpires for the South Africa vs. New Zealand match. Illingworth previously officiated South Africa’s victory in a similar match two years ago, while Wharf oversaw New Zealand’s win in the group stage this year.
In Kolkata, Nitin Menon will serve as the third umpire, with Rod Tucker as the fourth umpire, and Javagal Srinath as the match referee. In Mumbai, the second semi-final between India and England will be officiated by on-field umpires Chris Gaffaney and Allahuddien Paleker.
Adrian Holdstock will be the third umpire in Mumbai, with Paul Reiffel as the fourth umpire, and Andy Pycroft as the match referee.
