Reaffirming its dedication to ensuring a fair and secure exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has urged all NEET-UG 2026 re-exam candidates to ignore rumors of a leaked question paper before the June 21 test. The NTA emphasized that the exam process’s integrity remains intact, with stringent measures in place to guarantee a just and secure exam environment for all test-takers.
The NTA addressed certain messages circulating on social media alleging a leak, advance access, or sale of the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam paper. Denouncing these claims as false and fraudulent, the NTA stated that such misinformation aims to deceive and exploit students and their families, emphasizing that these are orchestrated scams by cheating networks seeking to extort money through fake papers.
Furthermore, the NTA highlighted its active efforts to identify and report the sources of fraudulent content to relevant platforms and cybercrime authorities for immediate action. The agency also announced its intent to lodge a formal complaint with law enforcement and cybercrime units against those responsible for creating or disseminating such deceitful content.
In a stern warning, the NTA emphasized that generating, sharing, or forwarding fraudulent content to deceive students is a punishable offense, and strict measures will be taken against the culprits. Candidates and parents were strongly advised not to engage with or forward such messages and to avoid falling victim to these fraudulent schemes, emphasizing reliance on official communications from NTA’s verified platforms for accurate information.
The NTA encouraged NEET-UG 2026 aspirants to focus on their exam preparation with confidence, emphasizing that hard work is paramount and reiterating its commitment to conducting a just, secure, and credible examination. The NTA is set to conduct the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam on June 21, with admit cards expected to be released by June 14, following the cancellation of the original exam on May 12 due to alleged paper leak concerns.
