The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the re-examination for NEET (UG) 2026 will take place on Sunday, June 21. This decision, approved by the Government of India, follows the cancellation of the earlier exam conducted on May 3, 2026. Candidates and parents are urged to rely solely on NTA’s official communication channels for updates and information.
With 22.79 lakh candidates registered for the exam this year, the NTA announced the cancellation of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2026 due to concerns over the examination process’s integrity. The decision was made after reviewing inputs from Central agencies and investigative findings provided by law enforcement authorities.
In a related development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has escalated its investigation into the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case. Four individuals, including Dinesh Binwal, Mangilal Binwal, Vikas (Mangilal’s son), and Yash Yadav, are being intensively questioned in Delhi to uncover the full extent of the alleged racket. The CBI conducted searches at the Binwal family’s residence in Jaipur, seizing documents, electronic devices, and digital records as part of the ongoing probe.
