The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, bringing relief to numerous students seeking admission to undergraduate programs nationwide. Candidates can now view their scorecards on the official CUET portal. With over 15.6 lakh candidates registered, about 11.6 lakh students appeared for the exam.
The examination saw broad participation from across the country, allowing candidates to select up to five subjects, leading to around 67.56 lakh test attempts and 12,906 unique subject combinations. Of the candidates, approximately 5.78 lakh were male, 5.85 lakh were female, and two identified as transgender. Following the release of the results, NTA has advised candidates to download their scorecards from the official website.
To access the results, students must visit the CUET portal, click on the result link on the homepage, and log in using their application number and date of birth or password. Once logged in, they can check their scores subject-wise, view percentiles, and download a copy for future admission processes. It is crucial for students to verify all details on the scorecard, including personal information and subject scores, and report any discrepancies promptly for corrections.
After addressing objections to the provisional answer key, NTA published the final answer key, identifying and rectifying technical issues in seven questions. The CUET UG 2026 exam took place from May 11 to May 31, with some papers held in early June. Last year, the results were declared on July 4 for exams held between May 13 and June 4, with the final answer key released on July 1.
